Kiwi Super A is OK. Base hop for all James Squire beers. Look for hops with low co-humulone for smooth and assertive bitterness.

My last two brews have used Super Alpha as the bittering hop (both still fermenting)
I first tried it in Boiler Boys Pils :chug:
Reckon it may usurp Magnum in my brewery if I am happy with these beers.

Another Northern Brewer user here.

Its pretty much the only bittering hop I have used - haven't seen a need to change as I like the result it gives.

Have been meaning to give Galena a run in the bittering role but still going through my original supply of NB (nearly gone).

Northern Brewer for me also.

Subtle spicyness but nothing overpowering as a bittering addition. Did a cream ale with some US Northern Brewer recently (Yes, US Northern Brewer).
The best quaffer for the masses. Was the 1st keg to be drained at my house warming.
