I've just today bottled my first ever solo brew.
I've done a stout (flavoured with cinnamon and cloves) with a friend and now I've done a larger (flavered with orange and rosemary) solo. So I'm stoked and excited about what to do next, my next brew will not be for a little while (we have to start drinking this one first) so I was wondering about a little research. In case you can't tell I'm very much interested in adding things to beer.
I'm thinking of a pilsner flavoured with rose and lavender as we've got a few buds just starting on our rosebush but I'm yet to find a good recipe.

Any other suggestions.

Have you ever eaten or drunk anything with lavender in it?

Rose yes (and I've had it in beer and it works - slightly hoppy pale ale or choc porter) but lavender should not be allowed off the bush (whether the bush it comes from or the pubes in Grandma's underwear drawer).

Did a Saison with Rose and Lavender and it was a definite tip out :icon_vomit:

Had a nice Rose IPA at GABS once.

Ashgrove cheese in NW tassie make lavender cheese thats quite nice. you definitely don't need to add much to the recipe.
