Hi all

I’ve just started out kegging and am having some trouble getting the pour out of my Pluto gun consistent and less foamy.

It’s a pacific ale and I am running about 2m of beer line.

What psi should I be running? Currently I’m running 10 psi and it is still overly foamy.

Appreciate any help that can be provided.

Thanks

If you are using 5mm ID your line should be at least 3m

Pluto guns can be tricky to use but when you get the knack they are pretty good.

What serving pressure are you using?

There's a possibility that your beer may be over carbonated

are you fully pulling the "trigger" on the gun
sticking it under the beer in the glass as fast as possible

i run about 1.2m of i think 5mm or 6mm line
I pull the trigger fully
pour down the side and stick it into the bottom of the glass under beer ASAP
if i want a bit more head (dont we all) i pulse the gun a few times "squirting" some foam

carb level does not worry me much, pours much the same either way
