Hey all,

Got myself an old temprite but it doesn't have the agitator bit on the top. Assuming all I need is to make some sort of paddle (all doable) but I'm not sure what sort of motor to run on the top. Ideally something slow moving and relatively quiet.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Tim

Actually most of them are very fast spinning (2850 RPM) with a small propeller, quite a few also have a pump on the same shaft, for pumping cooling water up to the font.
Andale and Lancer both have a range of units, some that are pretty generic and could be retro fitted.
Be a good idea to try and find a model number, maybe take some photos and do some asking of the suppliers.

They are as mark explained. I have changed one many years ago. The motor is a flattish shape.

I use a blich pump for a a while in a temprite, had the font cold enough, and movement in the tank...
