Its been 24 hours since my first full extract brew and its got a big krusen and is bubbling away nicely its abit of a copy of a recipe i seen here but with amber malt instead of LLME

1.5kg amber liquid malt
.8kg liquid wheat malt
1kg DME

super alpha 12g @ 60
amarillo 12g @ 20
Cluster 24g @ 10

OG: 1056 @ 23l brew

smells kick ass and cant wait to try it out

cheers Jake

seems a odd recipe as its almost a lager with amarillo in it. I found the amber extract was a little bit to much for me Id prob only use 500g but thats me I would also only use 500g max of dex between 10-20% of the fermentables. It might be a cracker on one way to find out.

cant wait to try it out will keep yous updated

cheers jake

yeah I hardly ever go by style or recipe lol. But I have read up on it all just choose to make beers I think I will like which doesnt really fall into a style.

yeah it called for LLME but i went the darker so if it turns out a lemon ill follow the recipe
