Use slightly more. Dextrose ferments almost completely. Malt extract of any type does not. Carbonation rates could vary.

So i'm just about to bulk prime with some Wheat Malt Extract.

In terms of the amount of Extract, do I use the same amount if I was using Dextrose?

I usually divide the dextrose quantity (weight) by 0.8 for the DME equivalent. I hear that 0.73 is closer to the mark, but haven't tried it yet. 0.8 gives a good result

e.g 180 g dextrose is equiv to 180/0.8 = 225g
