Murrays Pumpkin Ale

Gday All

Was at the local taphouse in melb last week and got to try Murrays Pumpkin Ale. Didn't know what to expect, I'd never heard of a pumpkin beer before.
Bloody awesome drop. Spicy, sweet, malty veggie beer!

I've read that it's a once a year thing that the murrays crew do for halloween. Anybody know if they bottle any of it? I'd buy a keg off them but that would just be greedy.

I've tried looking up other pumpkin ales but nothing so far. Anybody tried any other pumpkin/veggie beers?

Also props to the local taphouse for having trumer pils & budvar on tap. At least the lager-only crowd was drinking awesome stuff.

Pumpkin Ales are massive in the US around Halloween. May be able to get some imported ones at a specialist liquor store. There are lots of how to recipes on the net on US homebrew sites. Defintiely wortha try!

They don't bottle it, closest thing would be to buy a growler of it, when it comes out.

Having said that, they pretty much sold all of the batch within weeks of making it. I know it didn't make it to the second day of the bitter and twisted beer festival.. I know cause I missed out...
