Hi

My new setup is cool but the gauge is faulty. I have spoken to the supplier who has agreed to replace it, but I need to send it and not the whole reg. Can I purchase a stopper at Pirtek or something. I am assuming the thread and size are a regulated standard.

Any advice or suggestions greatly appreciated.

PS

keggs ready for drinking tonight woooohoooo

Thanks

Adam

I think the standard reg fittings are 1/4" BSP. If you get a 1/4" BSP tapered plug you should be able to block the hole no worries. A bit of gas rated plumbers tape (the yellow one-but not sure if that's an absolute necessity-I just know it's rated to a higher pressure) and your away.

Follow the directions for the yellow plumbers tape. They have different numbers of overlaps for different diameter pipes.

Cheers, Justin
