Hello, I'm heading down to Melbourne for a week and was wondering if anyone had any tips on a decent place to drink good beer. Thanks for your tips.

Dejavu. 525 Little Collins (CBD) - map

Always an interesting craft beer on tap. Last time I was there they had boatrocker (hop bomb) and murrays (whale?).

CBD. Cookie, Mrs Parmas, Beer DeLuxe, Dejavu, Young & Jacksons (Y&J was disappointing when I last visited).

Plenty of places in the suburbs nearby as well.

Terminus in North Fitzroy. Little Creatures in Fitzroy. Mountain Goat in Richmond. The Local in St. Kilda. Gertrude in Fitzroy. Great Northern in Carlton. Raccoon Bar in Preston. HEAPS more.

I'm off to the Terminus tonight! Work dinner. Woo-hoo!

Bar fred in Carlton north/brunswick east does very good $8 pizza and cheap bottle selection including NZ, Victorian and us breweries. Never busy for some reason.

Beer delux in the city. I live near the local tap house it's got a good and wide selection.
