Hi all,
These have recently hit the streets in Perth, and are a Belgian ale I had not seen beofre.
Both cost About $5, so almost a cheapy on the Belgian scale.
Blonde: Nice golden colour, quite "Bright", fairly spicy and slightly sweet nose, sweet and pungent flavour, lots of pale maltiness, not bad at all.
Brune: Similar to blonde, but a dark almost opaque appearance, and a lot more heavy scorched toffee flavours.
These both get my thumbs up, and at this price are a plasuible alternative when falling short of HB.
Both are 6.3 degrees of alcohol
Cheers
