Ha Ha ha, I was waiting for it :D

But you forgot the sun dial :p

I couldn't imagine a breday without a pump. It makes life soooo easy.

Cheers

I can't wait to get my pump. I've been looking forward to being classed as a real brewer. I've already got the sundial and refractometer. I don't have the beard though

GMK. I will be around the $200 mark, but not under if you include postage and bracket. Also if we are under 20 units.
Are you in ?
How about you buy two for GMKEnterprises so you can supply whoever misses out ?

Ok - so the pump can be mounted without the bracket.

so - what is the optional bracket for then...

thanks

Here are the cad drawings for the pump.
No bracket is shown.
Maybe yet another phone call is required to confirm the mounting plate on the pump for the bracket ?

Doc

Hi Guys,

Doc,
Here is his explanation of how the pump attaches to the plate. These do not originally come with the pump. I beleive they manufacture them , themselves.

"John
Here is a basic drawing of the pump mounting bracket, the bracket has 4
bolting down holes and attaches to the pump via the mounting holes at
the front."

From memory he said its about 25mm thick. Good enough for me as I dont have a stand yet and will be using it while its on the ground. This will stabilise it some more. Good enough for me.
If you want any more details let me know and I will get onto them.

johnno

Good enough for me too.
Happy GMK ?

Doc

Do you have a hopback or plan on building one ?
Do you have a CFWC or plan on getting one ?
Do you want to have a single or two level brew sculpture in the future ?
Do you not want to have to lift equipment during the brew process on brew day ?

If you answered yes to one or more of these questions then you need a March pump.
I'm sure others can come up with more.

I was asking same question mobrien - & answered NO to all Doc's questions - so for once saving 200 hundred bucks :D

but guess it may change in the future

My one from Grain and Grape did not have any bracket at all. A friend who also bought one from Process pumps a while back did not have the mounting bracket. As far as I know the 809 pumps with the mounting bracket are a specially made case for morebeer and NB etc.

The downwater pipe clamps shown and talked about earlier in this thread would work great. As would the exhaust pipe clamp. No major drawback IMO. Good to see a few takers on the offer. Going to be a few more pumped and one/two tier systems on here soon :D

Cheers, Justin

Here is the list. If you aren't confirmed and you don't come back to us by tomorrow night, then you will not be included in the bulk buy.
Those that are confirmed please also come back and inform us if you want the bracket.
