So i am new to the whole brewing thing and i have recently bottled some apple cider about 10 days ago and on the packet it said to leave somewhere warm to carbonate then to move to a cooler place after a week and i wasn't sure what it meant by cooler if it was like just somewhere cooler or like a fridge so this afternoon i put them in the fridge and just wondering if it's fine to age them in the fridge?

concrete shed in the dark works for me.. Im in Melbourne.. weather is pretty cool most of the time

yeah kind of everywhere is too hot out here so i think i may just have to leave it in the fridge.

i was more worried if having them in the fridge would damage the overall quality of my cider.

More likely to improve it. Cider will benefit from cold conditioning.

Cheers
Dave

Thanks Dave that's good to know as this is my first batch but I have a few others on the way
