Hi

I am putting a "Braubuska/mieser" recirculating type system together and wanted to know if there is a ratio in regard to malt pot to kettle volume?

I have an idea for a design that I think should work.

Cheers

Have a read through Matho's Braumeiser thread. Lots and lots of good info on building a brau-clone: http://aussiehomebrewer.com/topic/57924-braumeister-nextgen-build/

In particular answer to your question, have a look at the spreadsheet I did up for calculating volume, grain capabilities: http://aussiehomebrewer.com/topic/57924-braumeister-nextgen-build/page-28#entry907532Z. This will let you enter in volume for your main pot, volume for your inner pot, element height, min water required to cover element, etc, etc.

Someone else added some improvements somewhere in the thread but that will certainly get you started.

I have read matho's thread and its very helpful. Gained lots of good info there!

Thanks for the link to the spread sheet! again awesome info!

Cheers
