Second leaving it out of fridge for 10secs. Also let some sediment get it. When drinking from the bottle you will be mixing it up slightly.
 
Leaving it out of the fridge for 10 mins improved the flavour slightly, but still disappointing compared to drinking from the bottle.

Might roll the bottle before serving in a glass *gasp*!
 
Yeah it sounds as if you perhaps enjoy the aroma associated with sediment.

Generally speaking it's accepted wisdom that you decant into a glass rather than drink from a bottle - aroma is the primary reason for that.
