I have a 19l corny that has been on the C02 at 12psi for 12 days, which I find is usually plenty.

This time, not so great, only a small amount of head & not much in the way of bubbles in the beer. It's a pilsner, so I was looking for a bit more carbonation.

The keg is earmarked for a xmas shindig tomorrow night, and I'm looking for a 'quick fix' overnight.

Have considered increasing to 30psi and/or changing the gas connect to the beer out post, but wanted some input from the experts.

FWIW, it's in a kegerator at 1-2c, with the standard beer lines/taps that came with it, and the C02 bottle is kept outside the fridge.

A leak somewhere maybe. If ya gonna go the high pressure and shake method do it now to give it the night for everything to resettle on the bottom of the keg
