So i made a Morgans Amber Ale....
Morgans Amber Ale Can
1kg Light Dry Malt
30g's Hops (cant remember which one)
Yeast pkt that came with kit
Fermented for 2 weeks, took ages to ferment but got there in the end.
I do 45 litre batch's cause i got sick of 22 litres...
So i kegged it all up and now i've drunk my whole first keg and it was BEAUTIFULL...great taste, great head and as clear as any brew i've seen.
BUT
I tapped up my second keg last night, it wasnt fully carbonated yet but needed a taste so thought i'd give it a go.
To my disgust i pulled a pot and it looks terrible. All brown and ****. Cant even see through the other side of the glass. Looks like mud.
But the first keg from the same batch was great? what have i done? Keg infection maybe? (i cleaned and sterelized thourghly before starting..) Is it because i havnt fully carbonated? I've now left the gas on overnight to carbonate it anyways as im hoping this will help..
Any advice? I dont really wanna throw out 20 litres of brew.
