I use my plug'n play CPF for keg-keg transfers. Gas and liquid in go on full keg, other end goes to liquid in. I first equalise the pressure via the gas valve (don't rush). Once they are balanced (or nearly) you can turn of the gas valve and turn on the liquid valve. You can also make use of gravity.
