Hey!

Can someone please share a keg pressure V time it takes to carb a keg?

It's been a year since I've kegged and I want to do an overnight carb. 250kpa ok?

Can someone also please give me the "correct" method to instant carb by rolling the keg etc?

Cheers,

Matt

There is a lengthy post if u search for it but basically, connect the gas line to a beer out disconnect and connect to beer out fitting. Turn regulator to 300 kpa and shake for 1 minute only. Disconnect gas. Leave keg to stand ( I usually leave for at least a few hours) when ready to drink, vent head space and add gas at pouring pressure.

I do similar to razz, more like 400kpa tho.

I give it about 120 shakes aiming for 2 per sec, then leave for a minute while I stop puffing, purge excess pressure and connect to serving... Ballpark 90 to 100kpa for most pa/ipas.

Good after 24hrs, much better after 48.

Hi
I have this stuck on the fridge, it helps me keep track.

Forced Carbonation
kpa psi bar-kg/cm2
Soda Water 300 43.5 3
Aussie beer 160 23.2 1.6
Pommie ale 140 20.3 1.4
100 14.5 1
Dispense 80 11.6 0.8

looks a lot neater in a spread sheet, didn't copy over very well.
