I just had a look at Keglands double tap, couldn't see a triple tap, as per usual dual tap out of stock, but if it was in stock $524 https://www.kegland.com.au/t-bar-flooded-font-double-tap-bundle.html
Are you guys comparing glycol flooded fonts?

Nah, looking at the ‘modular’ fonts. So this one:

https://www.keg-king.com.au/triple-tap-modular-font.html

KL have a similar offering for a lot less.. obviously the KK one is beefier and uses quick disconnects etc. but as I said, for something that is purely aesthetic, seems a bit Exxy

If it was flooded would be different

Um they are definitely not apples for apples - the triclamps make the KK one expandable, the quick disconnects etc.
They look very industrial! Would I buy one? No but I was looking at the 2 inch T piece for another project.
I guess if you want that look you would pay for it! I think it would look fantastic in brass or copper! I do know just a simple RIMS tube built with 2 inch triclamps is $200.
On the other hand the KL one is a very cheap and simple design.
So Depends what you want? I can’t see why people need to be abusive.

Both solutions are expandable, and the disconnects have nothing to do with it, other than increasing the price.
Phantom accounts posting malicious claims, bagging out the opposition, and fake product reviews deserve to be applauded? No my friend they need to be identified and abused, I call it the way I see it, there's no PC here but if you see it differently then that's fine.
As for the tee piece for your other project there's this for $45 https://www.keg-king.com.au/2-inch-tri-clover-tee-extension-female-1317.html or this for $19.95 https://www.kegland.com.au/2-inch-tri-clover-equal-tee.html now they certainly do look a bit more apple-ish.
And your simple rims @ $210 just tube no element etc https://www.keg-king.com.au/catalog/product/view/id/184/s/rims-heat-stick-heat-exchanger-housing/ could be a complete pro unit https://www.stilldragon.com.au/rims-tube-complete/ for an extra $65 complete, even comes with mounting brackets, and I can attest the quality of this gear, I happen to still as well as brew. The Still Dragon stuff leaves KK/KL stainless for dead, although the KL gear is substantially cheaper so as you point out "Depends what you want" Cheers G

I was actually saying they aren’t apples for apples.. but for the purpose of a nice looking font, for me, the full tri-clamp set up with quick disconnects etc. is a bit over-kill for something that’s just for looks.. if the KK ones were flooded, you could understand the cost extras but they’re aren’t.

But if you’re keen to spend double on that stuff go for it I guess

Steam punk has a lot to answer for.

Thanks for all of that, yes I know about the KL tee and thxs for the info on stilldragon - didn’t know they existed.
I was actually hoping we were going to move beyond all the agro since KK are back obviously I was wrong.
Cheers

It's just a pity Punkin has such a bad name around here, is renowned for providing terrible service to home users these days and the whole stealing the SD IP debacle...

I just checked that RIMS out. I added a heater to mine and it was close to the same price (within $10). Yes it looks ok, I’ve decided my next system however will be Based on a HERMS from CP brewery
Cheers

I thought he might have died, he did have trouble with his heart, but now I think he was barred from AHB.

Well on a happier note my Guten Conical Fermenter has arrived. First impressions? It is more heavily built than I expected!
It looks really neat! Sorry Keg King I use a Smartpid to control my fermentation chamber, so the lovely little thermometer has been replaced by a thermowell.
Can’t wait to try it out!
Looking forward to the pressure kit as well!
Cheers and thx!
(Oh and I paid the preorder price - just in case people are wondering ;) )

I had a look at them when I went in to sort the grain orders out, really looks the goods, I would be giving it a try out with a pressure test, wouldn't put money on it but I am guessing it could hold a fair pressure as is.

I thought about that WEAL, before KK said they were producing a pressure lid. But in all honesty, just about everything I have has been modified to such an extent - I wanted to keep something standard ;).
I am impressed by how thick the walls are and how sturdy it feels! It will take pride of place in my blue fermentation chamber (made from the innards of an old bar fridge and a big Ice Box from Bunnings!). It runs off a Smartpid (which is perfect for the purpose)
If it works ok - I might get a second one! I have a almost new freezer that is screaming keezer! And they will fit in a kegerator apparently! Anyway enough rambling - cheers WEAL

No, he moved up near Coffs Harbour and StillDragon AU is operating out of Woolgoolga now
He joined the a distilling group on FB a few weeks ago to reply to someone who'd shared their poor experience with him

Are those legs adjustable? And I presume you can pick them up by the handles, really do look tempting especially as I can get 2 into the fridge. What do you think Kenf about the chances of thm holding some pressure as is, just for carbonating.

I guess so I can see if the hole that fits the bung will take a Gas Post (I don’t really want to drill another hole lid).
The legs just double in height

Cheers for that Kenf I am sold on it now.:) Since buying the 50 litre Guten and having the 40 litre I can now brew a large batch, ferment and cold crash in two of those fermenters. I wonder what "Long live Guten" is in Chinese. or should it be in German?

Geez mate! I was going to do the test first ;) actually I showed a photo to a mate of mine from work, and he did say he needed another “staino” fermenter - I offered him my old Mangrove Jacks one and he said Nah I want one of these!
But I want to do a few tests (like a pressure test and lifting it by the handles) before committing to a second. Mind you with the pressure kit promised, the pressure test might be irrelevant. I’ve got to take a few action shots of my Frankenfather on the Weekend so I will give the fermenter a run as well!
Cheers Reg!
