Keg Fridge started struggling to keep things cold - started Good Friday - by saturday the compresor was continuously running, temperature climbing.

I had mates over for the weekend, and wanted cold beer... So we filled it with ice. Kept it at 2 degrees for the weekend.

Now I've got a fancy insulated box.

Good bye old friend, you will be dearly missed.

Now - to buy a new Chesty!

it is likely it has a tiny leak in its closed system.
once a fridge/freezer loses a certain amount of refrigerant... it's all over....

and it should be the simple matter of repairing whereever they have leaked .. but this is not as simple as it appears .. and often the leak is "hidden" inside where you can't see it without destroying the unit....

you're right you have an insulated box...

you could use it as a camping esky

Not a good Easter mate, its like when your favourite thong blows out!!!!!!
