Hi All

New to the forum, and relatively new to brewing. Apologies if this is a rookie questions or has been answered many times before.

First of all the recipe:

Coopers mexican cerveza

1kg dextrose

12g Super Alpha Finishing Hops

I boiled 2L of water and added can of Curveza and stirred through, then added 1kg dextrose and boiled. Allowed to cool for 10 minutes and added to fermenter. I stood alpha hops into a cup of boiling water for ten minutes whilst I filled fermented. Once full added alpha hops and bag into fermenter. Took reading of 1034 then added yeast. 10 days later I racked into second fermenter and added finings and left for another 7 days. I had a consistent temperature of 18 degrees and final reading of 1005.

I opted to trial bulk priming, so I added 180g of dextrose into pot with water and boiled for 10 minutes, allowed to cool in cold water for half hour then added to fermenter and racked brew into fermenter. Allowed to rest for an 30 minutes then bottled.

I notice at the bottom of the fermenters a clear jelly like substance which I have not seen before, can any tell me what it is and if i should be concenrned about my brew (other than the fact its an attempt at Corona lol).

Cheers

added finings
The jelly is jelly.

Don't worry about it and have read about what finings are and how to prepare them properly.

Essentially, the finings you've used will be gelatine.
