Intelligent people drink more alcohol

I'm hoping there is a disclaimer to the effect : Just because you are a heavy consumer of alcoholic beverages, your logic is flawed if you believe that it presumes your higher intelligence.

I shall quote Hemingway here -"An intelligent man is sometimes forced to be drunk to spend time with his fools." Maybe that's the reason behind the causal relationship?

When i was a student i assisted in an op at rbh, fellow had shot his face off. Had tried to shoot himself in the head but his partial metal denture deflected the bullet.Thought it was probably a pointless 6 hours , pretty sure after one look in the mirror he wouldn't stuff it up next time.
