I'm Looking For A Stir Bar

Hi Guys,

Sadly, a couple of weeks ago I misplaced my stir bar. For me to order through Livingstone there is a $25.00 delivery fee and since I only need the stir bar (around $6.00) it is not really worth my buying through them.

Has anyone got a spare 50-60mm stir bar they would be willing to sell me? It's amazing the convenience of using a stir plate and how much you miss it when you can't.
Any help would be appreciated.

Its not quite what you are after but if you can not get another stir bar try these from Jaycar. I have one glued to the fan and use the other as the stir bar, Im not sure if it will work with your existing setup (Im assuming you have 2 rare magnets stuck to the fan).

Yes stir plates are great... make hydrating polyclar a breeze

Well as always, AHB members have come to the rescue when help was required.
Within minutes of me posting this topic I can look forward to brewing again.

A big thanks to n00ch who has PMed me with an offer of a stir bar and I will soon be back to stir plating.
Just shows how much of a generous community we have here at AHB :beer: .
