No more questions.
You run it once to clear any gun, then chuck in some napisan and do it again. Wipe it clean .

And commercial brewers install as much automation as they can afford.Batz said:That looks great.
Now a lot of brewers are going to say they like more hands on brewing, as they pack the dishwasher, turn on the washing machine, use the microwave and drive their cars.

That's what they tell you.Lyrebird_Cycles said:Typically the seller pays the PayPal fees and considers them a cost of doing business on the Ws.
If you meant PayPal's appalling exchange rate offerings, they also typically affect the seller.
On average I am about 1000 - 1500 visitors per week on the site, then some additional exposure via my Twitter, FB and YouTube pages. Last week I had 5,000 visitors...my largest ever. Not sure if the numbers are large enough though?Blind Dog said:How many people read your blog? Might be worth talking to the brewie people about getting one for a discount / free to review with maybe a monthly posting on your ongoing use and experiments? They link to you, you link to them. So long as you make it clear in your blog your arrangement, everyone's a winner.
Can you elaborate on these problems you speak of?Roosterboy said:I have spoken to these guys. Remember for a machine and shipping your looking at $2029 USD so that is around $ 2536 plus GST plus customs plus paypal fees.
So you would be looking at over $2850 Aust dollars.
It's the best type of these machines but I would wait til they fix a few problems in their production.
Aaah...ignore my PM then. I thought you meant the product was flawed.Roosterboy said:I"m not talking about the machine, I don't know of any machine problems. I'm talking about the scale of production and who makes it for them.
I'm pretty sure that the 1800 watt element is due to US gov restrictions. Grainfather people had to downsize their 2200 watt elements for US market. They still come to a rolling boil - just takes a bit longer.chrisluki said:Someone else mentioned that the element is only 1800w for these systems...would that really matter that much if it is all computer controlled? i.e. less strength but I am assuming the computer would still know how to run the system to make sure the water was as hot as you need when you needed it and bring it to the boil easily?
but i dont want to wait for a knockoff, i want one now!!good4whatAlesU said:Reminds me of my Panasonic bread maker (albeit a little more complicated). We have made about 1 loaf a day for the last 18 months. Parts are now starting to wear out and need replacing.
If the alcohol excise keeps rising these things are going to become a lot more popular (and cheap as chinese knock-offs come on the market).
haha!Batz said:That looks great.

Shot them an email today to see whats up with the "international pricing"!wide eyed and legless said:You could offer to be an agent in Australia, your only stumbling block would be when they ask what would you expect your projected sales to be like, the other thing is their sales tax would be taken off that figure, it isn't much in the USA and depends on the state but every little helps. I did see it advertised for $1750 or there about, I bet if you tried hard you could get them down to $1500 US.
There's already another player in the market, chrisluki said:but i dont want to wait for a knockoff, i want one now!!
