Hey Guys,
Just a quick note to say hello and fill you in on my brewing journey. Been extract brewing for 2 years and dabbled mashing.
My setup, is 5 kegs setup to a he 120 icebank.. going through flooded 5 tap font. Which also pumps gycol from the font down the beer lines.
Most extract kits I have used have been morgans. I always do 62 litre batches with 3 tins with around 3 kg of sugar (dex sucrose 17 and light dry malt) I always use the perium yeasts and 12-50 g of hops steeped and then mixed into my wort. Ferment for 5- 14 days then pump to kegs and force carb at 25psi for 2-3 days before dropping to serving pressure at around 15- 20psi.
I'm still using plastic fermenters and I'm keen to buy a stainless conical.
Over the last few years I have looked at this forum but never posted until now.. guess Im At the stage now where maybe I might be able to help someone learn or learn something myself.
Looking forward to hearing from you guys.
