jeez where do i start.
i dont really want to add up what i spend due to the fact it already scares me and i may give up. asif
i have to factor in for grain alone road freight costs to darwin then sea freight costs to gove.any small orders get put in a 3kg overnight bag which due to my location gets here after 3-4days on average at $9/bag plus whats in it.
this obsession is starting to get expensive so i will stop thinking about freight costs.
I remember one day my lovely lady quizzing me on how much I had spent on "beer" (her term for home brew products)
After giving my response and getting the "that's a bit much your spending on beer, isn't it?" She lit up another cigarette and suggested that I may have cut back a bit on my drinking - I don't smoke!
The funny part about it all was that we spend roughly the same each fortnight on our vices but I should cut back!
My costs vary from about $20-35 per brew dependant on what I make and I make roughly about 3-4 brews per month: The month of January alone I made six brews! This was because, due to circunstances beyond mt control, I had run out and was back in build up brewing.
I've posted before that I get top kits and masterblands for under $20 and these make fantastic beers if anyones interested PM me and I can pass on the details.
