10 kegs inside 510lt cheast freezer. 4 tap font.
Lift lid and swap leads when time for a change.
Get some interesting combos.
Try to keep all 10 full.
Bit hard during summer with only room for 2 fermenters in brewing fridge.
Bring on the cooler weather.

I have 2x19L and 1x11L but I would like about 5 more 19L ones.

Then I'll just need a bar and font. Already have the chest freezer which basically stores full bottles at this stage.

I have 12 x 19litre kegs and just bought a 50 litre. When i tap a keg and find it tastes extra special i tend to drink only a quarter or half and try to keep the rest for those special occasions. I normaly only drink from one or two of my six taps.
Cheers 15BL

I have 5x19 litres here and a couple of 50's waiting to be filled.
I'd like another 5 or 6 you just cant have enough
Frank

I had 2 but last week i brought another one.

2x 19lt

1x 21lt

would really love more 21lt's kegs as it means u hardly have to bottle anything when doing a 23lt batch.

5 - which is one for each of the 4 taps, plus a spare

I reckon it's essential to have that spare one. It means you can recondtion a keg without missing out on having a keg in the fridge and if you need to brew but your fermenters are full, you can rack a brew off into the keg to continue conditioning

Well,

I have just takin the plunge and ordered all my kegging gear from Ross.( poor kids wont be eating for a year, but Ross looked like he needed the money ) :p

So i will have the huge tally of 2 when they finally hit the streets of Melbourne.

This better be worth it :D

therook,

It will deffinately worth it.. if it turns out that you feel it wasn't worth it and need to find a foster home for you gear there is a nice farm up here in the Hunter Valley that the kegging gear can run around on. :p

You won't regret it rook.

7 x 19L here and 1 11L.

It's enough for now.

Cheers.

Rook,

At twice the price its still worth it! :beerbang:

BTW, 6 x 19 litre kegs here.

Not enough. :(

8 kegs which fit nicely into the chest freezer and there is no more room for anymore. I would like a half size one for parties...mmmm.....bugger !

So with all the 11litre, 19litre abd 21 litre kegs getting around what do peeps do when the brew a 23litre batch?

Bottle the remaining 3-4litres?

or throw the rest in a keg?

9x19L, several in use currently. With a huge brewing hiatus I've only started to refill them over the last few weeks...

Bottling is an option... I've modified my batch size to be closer to a single keg on its own, a single keg with a couple of bottles, or 2 kegs worth. I only tend to bottle up those I plan on aging for a long time.

Brew a 20L batch and don't worry about it.

I fill 2 small 12L kegs with the overs - one for lagers & one for ales. When full I drink them - Had some great beers come from these "mongrel" brews. Otherwise I just top up the keg when it drops a little.

Just scored some 23L kegs from OZbrewers sell up, so just kegged 23L of pommie Bitter Mmmmmm...

Are these the ones which are going to act as casks?

Handpumps coming up?

Cheers.

I too have started to use one of my kegs as a "slops" keg (ales only here) after trying Ross's's's'.

Beats the hell out of finding just one or two bottles and you get some interesting results.
Yet to have a blend that isn't great to drink.

No, I'll probably use the 12L kegs to naturally carbonate, & I'm intending on feeding by gravity, which is better IMO than a hand pump. The naturally conditioned keg will be on a high shelf in the cold room, will be fed into the bar through the wall & dispensed by a wooden tap in an end barrel on the wall (hope that makes sense). I will use an aspirator to replace the head space with CO2 to extend the life of the keg.

cheers Ross
