How Long Will Cracked Grain Keep?

I was planning to do the Bock and an Oktoberfest on the one day a couple of weeks ago, but being my first mash the Bock was enough. So as a result i have about 3kg's of cracked grain for the Oktoberfest in a sealed bag in the fridge. How long will this keep for? As i dont want to dump it and start again. I need to have it cracked and ready to go just incase i get a few hours to brew i can get started with little or no lag time

My record for cracked grain is 5 weeks. Brewed with it and the beer was very fine indeed
