How long do crusheded grains last?

Hi all,

Just wanted some opinions on how long crushed grains are good for?. was given like 10+kg of pale/munich/crystal/wheat which is apparently like a month old. It's been sitting in a zip tied bag, in a house. I opened it up and tasted it, everything seemed to taste fine just wanted some reassurance they'd be fine to brew with next week. I zip tied the bag back up and put it in an esky till next week,
just wondering, will I loose efficiancy? Anyone brewed with grains that old?

To be honest it's probably going to happen anyway but doesn't hurt to ask.

Well like, considering how we don't like, know the ratio of grains like, we are all guessing a bit, like.
However, from past experience, you should be fine with one month old grains, like.
So considering the fact that, like, you are going to do it anyway, like, just go for it.
** Taking the P*iss**
You should be fine. One month wont worry you a bit. You can feel reassured.

So it's LIKE 8.16 pills .44 wheat .55crystal (120) .55 Munich if that makes any difference.
Basically LIKE I didn't LIKE want to go to all that effort to LIKE make a horrible beer... LIKE

If flushed with CO2 and then sealed, no issue for longer storage times if needed. Certainly fresher is better.

I've used cracked grain that was over a year old, though it was vac sealed, still tasted great.
