slcmorro: have read so much about the 120 minute IPA over the years and decided it'd be nice to try it or something very close to it. Basically, we're doing it because we can. Next one will be an Australian Hopped all grain Barley wine up around the 23% mark - that should stretch our abilities a little further. Why? Because we want to. We'll blog it as development of the recipe progresses.

another reason why people do continuously hopped beers is a seamless transition between bittering, flavour and aroma additions.

Former Intensive Care Paramedic and clinical team leader, i pulled the pin from a fast paced life and focused on my three passions - family, good beer and fly fishing I still hold an interest in applied sciences. Currently the owner of National Home Brew & Hervey Bay Home Brew, I'm not on here to primarily to promote business, but rather for the unadulterated enjoyment of making good beer. As an enthusiast brewer with an understanding life partner and wife I now get to spend a lot of time designing great beer, enjoying the fruits of my labours and the personal satisfaction of helping others to do the same.
