Hi Guys,

Last weekend I created a starter with a Whitelabs WLP039 Nottingham Ale Liquid Yeast.

However my brew day was interrupted and I could not brew so my yeast has been in my starter since last Sat night. There has been consistent bubbling in the airlock for the last three days.

Will the yeast still be good for this weekend?
Is there anything I can do to help it along?

The starter is 600ml water 100gms DME boiled for 15 min.

Cheers

as above.
I kept a starter that past krausen for a week. no probs.
remember you won't need 2L starter for ales.
look in the wiki and save some for next brew

Alternatively stick it in the fridge for a few days, that slows the metabolism right down. The night before pitching take it out of the fridge and let it aclimatise.

Pictch at room temperature and it will take off OK.
