I for one is a no frills bloke because of circumstancing rather then choice.

Pilsner Glass for pilsner or lager at 6 degrees and the pint or 1/2 pint for ale at 9-11 degrees.

Carbed appropriately off course!!
 
I usually serve my beers to drop ins in 500 ml Franziskaner glasses. They are a bit sturdier than the 500 ml Schfferhofer glasses I like to use myself. Also have some 250 ml Bitburger lager glasses.
 
When the boys are over I usually serve in 250-300mL pilsner style glasses, easy to self serve when most of them still find beer on tap a novelty and the smaller glass size means they get to fill up more often.
If its myself or a couple of us I'll bring out some nicer ones.
