Hop Rhizomes. $10 Plus Freight

On a continuation from a thread last year, I have Hop Rhizomes available for $10.00 each for AHB members.
Rhizomes that are currently available are listed below. Please add your name to the list and then PM me for details. Freight will be by express post satchels,
500g $8.00,
3000g $12.00,
5000g $19.00.
Each Rhizomes will weight approx 200g in a press seal bag of Vermiculite to keep moist.
These will not be the largest Rhizomes you have seen but I will give a guarantee on their take.
I am in Adelaide and will not send Rhizomes to Western Australia or Tasmania. They have been propagated in a Phylloxera Exclusion Zone and all soil have been removed before packaging.

I think it might be something to do with a) the distance and b ) that he guarantees the quality

But I wouldn't think that postage to W.A or Tas is any further/longer by post than to Brisvegas or Nth Qld for example from Adelaide which is where the rhizomes are now.

Sydney is approx 1400 km by road from adelaide
Brisbane is approx 2000km by road from Adelaide
Perth is approx 2700km by road from Adelaide
Hobart is approx 1500km by road from Adelaide

So really an extra 100-1300km is not really going to effect the hops that much...especially if it is express post and will be there overnight anyway I assume

yeah...when you put those numbers of the distances...it just didn't look right. But now it makes sense...

Yea, mate. Apparently it can be done, but I heard the process is long and drawn out.
