Its been 3 years in the making.

Finally the producers of "Mrs Grumpy is going away for 2 weeks" have agreed to a sequel. More hotly aniticpated than any Star Wars sequel - this instalment of the GrumpyPaul brewing adventures franchise is expected to be epic.

Firm plans are yet to be made but I expect there to
  • lots of brewing - even midweek brews. The plan will be to fill all the cubes I have.
  • finally get around to wiring up the inkbird pid thats been sitting around into a controller of some sort,
  • Im up for a collaborative brew day - so will be looking to imposes my charming self on some local brewers
  • Not brewing related but there will be time spent on the boat - drinking beer.
  • Coincided with Good Beer Week and GABS so I reckon thats a must
As with the last thread - I shall keep you all updated as I go.

Stay tuned

I have one of those Inkbird PID controllers sitting in a box too. What are you planning for yours?

At the moment I have one wired up STC 1000 that gets swapped between fridge duty and herms duty.

I plan to use the pid for the herms.

I also have two other unwired STC type thingies -

Will wire one up for HLT so I can set and forget the temps for sparge water.

And may wire the last STC up for the kettle - just in case I ever want to do some kettle souring then I can set and maintian the temp for that.

Will the 'no pants brewing' extend to 24/7 in all areas of the house?

Sadly no...

The daughter, her husband and 2 kids still live at home with us.

Nice to see that there are still young families taking care of their Elderly, and not just casting them aside into old age care. :p

You going unilaterally pants-free for a couple weeks might help, eh?
