Standing up for the Aussie Bottler
I found a bottle of this at Blackhearts and Sparrows in Melbourne recently.
Opened it last night and it had some kind of unfortunate sour infection which stripped out all other flavours (probably lacto).
Anyone else tried it and had a similar (or a different) experience?
I love biere de gardes like de boleil and trois monts so I was a bit disappointed as I'd like to see more of them available commercially.
Unforunately too, it was a one off collaboration brew made at (but not by) Matilda Bay brewery so I can't really contact anyone in regards (as I'm not into slagging off breweries without at least making attempts to contact and mention the issue).
