My family would like a setup that avoids fermentation to get ginger beer bubbly. The alcohol is undesirable for us. I plan to look into a lower calorie brew if I can get rid of fermentation as well.
Others have brought to my attention two solutions.
1. keg w/ gas and serving line
2. carbonation cap w/ gas
Option (1) has some issues for me (fridge space).
Option (2) sounds quite good.
Does anyone have any other setup suggestions?
If option (2) is the best idea brought up, I really could use some help selecting pieces for it, understanding how to use them / how they fit together and how to use the setup.
I used to be a software engineer and my skillset leans that way. I've used Airtasker to hire someone to put together my IKEA furniture and to connect my washing machine up (to be fair the cold water was really hard to connect). I get the feeling that a lot of things in brewing communities are taken for granted, for instance I don't know how you are supposed to use them pipe clamps. I might have a lot of questions before I'm confident enough to go ahead with a purchase.
Thanks!
