Name's Angus and I'm from Brisbane. Haven't done any brewing yet. Looking forward to starting soon as I've been keen for a while with family members dabbling in the past and a mate who has started up recently as well.

Cool, welcome! There are a lot of great brewers and brewing resources in Brisbane. If you are on the south side of Brisbane, BABBS is a great club to drop into and say g'day.

Are you looking at kits, fresh wort kits or all grain?

Hi Gussy,

Welcome to a great hobby. I'm a Brisbane brewer too (out to the south-west) and this site helped me go from kits to extract and finally to All-grain brewing. Getting better results each brew and still learning...

There's a wealth of great info and really fun helpful people here. Read up and don't be scared to ask questions. Most of us are just itching to show off our brew-geekery
