good luck and as mentioned - insulate the probe on the side of the FV. I can't be bothered looking for the thread/s, but there have been many a discussion and it goes:

probe in wort > insulate probe on side > probe in water > probe in fridge air.

Wort probe is best but has a little extra risk of infection, air temp is very different and water temp could be several degrees off from active fermentation temp.

I also went stubby holder duct-taped to the side - anything like an old wetsuit or even foam would be good too

Turns out its the fridge. Its a refurbished fridge which works good for the 12 - 18 deg controls but can only get the temp down to 4.5deg.

Moving in a months time so may look at a upright freezer then.
