Got Some New Gear - So Excited Like A Kid At Xmas

I just got a what I think is a bargain. SWMBO isnt impressed so she doesn't share my excitement.

6 kegs
Pluto gun
regulator
3 fermenters
2 immersion heaters
bottle capper
6 kit cans
2 50litre drums part filled with malt and sucrose

All for $450.

by my calcs its worth a heap more.

6 kegs @ $60 (cheapest on ebay) = $360
Pluto gun @ approx $80
regulator @ approx $100
3 fermenters @ $30 = $90
2 immersion heaters @ $45 = 90
bottle capper @ $60
6 kit cans @ at least $12 = $72
2 50litre drums part filled with 7kg malt and 2 kg sucrose - no idea what this is worth????

At those guestimates I got about $950ish worth of stuff for my $450.

That's a great deal, particularly if you can pass on what you don't need to make some back. Just wait till SWMBO finds out that now you'll HAVE TO buy a CO2 tank

Ebay - and pick was 3 minutes away

got that ....nice little stainless steel bar fridge for $50 a couple of weeks ago. Its been used for kegs before and has hole drilled for airline too

Good deal.
She will shit herself once you start getting the bug & HAVE to add CO2, fridge or freezer to keep kegs cool, fonts 'cos they look cool, taps, bartop to mount the taps on, shed to cover the new bartop etc etc.
The list goes on but the journey never ends....and who would want it to.

Just make her something she will like......
