Hi Guys, I will be on Gold Coast for business tomorrow and will have a few hours to kill in the afternoon. Where is a good place for a beer around Surfers, Broad Beach, etc?

Pink Poodle on the Southside of Surfers, the only Belgian bar that i know of on the coast but it's not as good as it used to be. Might drop up for a couple with you, what time u thinking?

I don't think the Pink Poodle is a belgian bar any more.

Best bet for decent beer around that part of town is now the casino as far as I know.

Mermiads - cafe at Burleigh, right on the water has coopers pale and LC Bright on tap. Great spot.

Last I heard you could still buy a limited selection of Belgians there, as I said though, it's not as good as it used to be as they're pushing megaswill to get the bogans in

I think the only belgian you'll find will be old leftovers from 12 months ago or a pint of Stella.
