Glass Soft Drink Bottles?

Hi,

Has any one used glass soft drink bottles to bottle their brew? As there are a lot of carbonated waters and soft drinks that come in 750ml bottles that I'd like to use. I suppose the hard thing would be getting caps.

yep I have been using the 750 mil ginger beer bottles for years with no problems. PET caps fit right on.

Don't use clear glass, the ginger beer bottles would be fine, 2 liter pet bottles are ok if you keep them in the dark, I use those for ginger beer and yeast harvests.

Thats great that the PET lids fit, as I have quite a few of those ginger beer bottles and some other dark green ones.
