has anyone tried out a ginger beer fermented with a lager yeast? if so how did it turn out? I'm planning on putting down a ginger beer tonight and still have the yeast slurry from my last lager in the fridge and thought I might try using that. it'd have to be at least as good as the kit yeast and it means i wont have to stuff about with heating (ambient temps between 13-15). any reason why this mightn't turn out so well?
