Need help,

Put down Coopers GB two can, Black Rock apple cider with 1k dex and Canadian Blond 1k dex.

Canadian blond - fermenting Started instantly

Black rock - not fermenting after 17 hrs

Cooper GB two can - not fermenting after 18 hrs.

All sealed properly. all cleaned and rinsed thoroughly.

Anyone any thoughts would be appreciated ?

Thought there might be a difference in yeast as my last coopers GB started bubbling instantly?

Not time to worry yet - they could be fermenting, just not as vigorously as last time. Wait at least another 12 or so hours and check the gravity to see if it's moved (assuming you took an original gravity reading). If you can go & pick up a packet or two of Nottingham or US05 (dry yeasts), you could re pitch if nothing's happening. Next time, buy some decent dry yeast to pitch at the start. The yeast under the lid is shite and hasn't been properly stored.

On behalf of jsm,

Thank you very much. Gravity has changed on both. We might try that yeast next time.
