I was wondering if anyone had any good suggestions for what yeast to use for a german pilsner?
I had a bottle of weihenstephaner pilsner the other day and really enjoyed it. never had their lagers before... want to try and make some.

I guess pilsner malt and maybe some vienna?

weihenstephaner website says 32IBU

Yeah, exactly.

I would go 100% Weyermann pils. You could adjust pH with gypsum or acid malt.

And Halletau...

It is a dry yeast available from Fermentis /Safale. There is a Wyeast equiv, can't remember what it i.

The Fermentis dry yeast is called 'w34/70'. The 'W' stands for............
