Selling my Grainfather setup as I've custom built a larger custom rig, it's about 18 months old (apart from the controller - new) and hasn't missed a beat. I'm also including the micro pipework for small batches and the blichmann thrumometer for use with the chiller. Includes manuals for the GF and the Connect Controller. Total RRP $1450.

Wow! The recirculation arm silicone hose is so nice and clean. Mine turned brown after the first batch and no amount of cleaning (with any product) can make it white again.

I guess it's a well looked after unit.

That doesn't sound right mate - mine hasn't changed colour at all.

Silicone hose will taint with colour eventually
I soak all of mine in sodium perc but they're all still darkish brown from lots of dark beers

Hi Insensate, you'll find the brewers choice grainfather is without the new bluetooth connect controller which is $200 new. If you want I can sell you the grainfather without the new controller for $800 and sell the controller separately. Also you have the micropipework and the blichmann thrumometer which together is $85 RRP.

I'm guessing the one from Brewers Choice doesn't come with the Connect controller (I believe the GF unit with the new contoller retails for $1,350?).
