Selling my grain father setup - pretty much everything you need to brew apart from ingredients!
$1,000 for the lot as described here.
Here's what you get:
- Original Grainfather (Gen 1) homebrew system. Works perfectly, only ended up using it a few times before a move and other demands have halted my brewing. For this price you can easily afford to upgrade to the new 'Connect' controller for automated brewing, it just plugs in. Or be more hands-on with this controller. Comes with the inner basket (and spare mesh insert), and counterflow chiller and all parts as per the pics.
- Pipework upgrade (unused) and improved mesh filter to bring it up to current spec.
- An unused 'graincoat' for insulation.
- Grainfather sparge water heater.
- Grainfather fermenter (original/standard type, not conical), with both s/steel and glass lids plus stopper and airlock.
(Note: GF and water heater tested this week and both work fine; controller has some damage to the cord as per pic, but still works fine.)
If that's not enough, you'll also get:
- a Keg King grain mill
- Hop spider
- s/steel mash paddle
- Keg King vortex spinner for whirlpooling and aeration (attach to a power drill)
- unused grain & grape aeration kit (just add oxygen bottle and adapter)
- a hydrometer (or maybe even 2!) and sample tube
- sanitiser, cleaner, and a bunch of vacuum-sealed additives
- 2 x Keg King dual temp controllers for fermentation control (so you have a spare or hook up another chamber)
- Copper Tun heat pad
- Plastic fermenter so you can do 2 brews at once
- Bottle filler, bottle washer, bottle drying tree and bench bottle capper
- 6 great books on brewing
- OPTIONAL - fridge that will hold 2 x fermenters
- OPTIONAL - boxes of bottles, mostly 345 and 500ml, some 750 I think. Plus some crown seals
- Plus if you want them, a bunch of Zymurgy (US) and Beer&Brewer (Aust) magazines for recipes and inspiration.
