Hi all.

Was just wandering if anyone has used frozen corn kernals instead if flaked maize and how they went?

I have a 25kg bag of popcorn. Crushed 1kg in the blender, then cereal mashed it for a Cream Ale. Came out very nicely indeed!

Polenta (maize) would be easier ? How much would you be using even in a GF beer?

I boil it up for 10-15mins, until it's basically soaked and gelatinised.
 
I've made a whitbeer style beer with coriander and orange peel with it. It was very nice, very hazy and a great head. Looked alot like chicha (the south american drink). I used 2 kg and some rice.
