Here's the problem, I have a secondary jerry & a primary ready to pitch. Both won't fit in my brew fridge at once.

The jerry has an APA just racked into it. This is my first AG (Yay!) & has been in the fridge steady at 18c. The primary is the last of the kits I had & will be a Raspberry Blonde (once racked onto the raspberrys).

The questions;

Is it more important to hold the temp constant at the start of fermentaion?

Will raising the temp after racking alter (ie bugger up) the APA?

What's the longest river in Africa?

The answer is to get more fridges.. I have 4 and I know I am on the lower side compared to some.

The things you find when you use the search function...

I find myself wanting to evict my APA from the brew fridge in favour of a new tenant. I figure that if the majority of the fermentation is done, any effect of less than perfect temperature must be slight - assuming the temp of the secondary doesn't go spastic.

It's too soon after the purchase of my current brewfridge to apply to the financial controller for another one.

This thread has given me increased confidence. I can see the fermentation schedule now:

Overnight in primary.
Two weeks in secondary.
Bottle conditioned overnight.
Crash chilled.
