Fridge on kerbside, Coorparoo (Brisbane)

Just passed a fridge in the neighbourhood that was on the kerb near 26 Pelham Street, Coorparoo. Pretty sure the sign on it said "Free, working". Looked like a tall, skinny, all fridge (no separate freezer door anyway). No affiliation, etc.

Just picked it up, it was a Kelvinator upright slim freezer.
Looked in good nick and clean inside.
I have an old Temp regulator that I thought could work on the freezer as well as a fridge so I brought it home.
Plugged it in and it it tripped the safety switch and tripped the shed fuse.
I'll have another look tomorrow but might be a dud.

Ah bummer. Still might be a good insulation box to stave off the the current overnight temperatures.
