fresh wort kits

I've been using fresh wort kits for a bit now and I was wondering if anyone who is using them, changes them from the instructions. I like to dry hop the IPA's and I have added honey to a porter which turned out nice. Does anyone else have any suggestions for brewing with FWK's?
